Exclusive Uni Food Seires - NTU

NTU may be an 'ulu' place, but it's certainly not lacking in good food! Allow us to showcase the delectable yummies NTU has to offer. CAUTION: EXCESSIVE DROOLING. You have been warned. ;)

Incoming freshmen, you're in for a treat because you've arrived just in time to enjoy the newly-opened food court, fast-food outlets and restaurants at Canteen A!

Don't miss the palatable fishball soup, 'bak chor mee' and 'xiao guo mian' at the
fishball noodle stall located at the food court. If the queue there is too long and you're rushing for lesson, head down to the Indonesian food stall, where the service is as efficient as the chicken is tasty. If you have a craving for 'zi char', try the Mini-wok stall, where you get piping hot rice with fried pork or chicken in various yummy sauces, topped with a sunny side-up. Oh, you wouldn't want to give the popular Japanese food stall a miss either.

Plus, your favourite fast food brands are here in NTU too. Get your Big Macs, Subway sandwiches, Canadian pizzas and Old Chang Kee goodies at students' price! Also, treat yourselves to popular restaurants such as Sakae Sushi, where you get to enjoy great food and wonderful ambience.

In the midst of newbies, let's not forget our old favourites!

Canteen 2 is arguably the most popular hall canteen,
because it offers the best beefball soup, western food and economical rice on campus. Not to mention its mouth-watering waffles, crispy and fragrant. You can choose from a variety of spreads such as chocolate, blueberry and peanut butter (shiok!).

Meanwhile, Canteen 4 is THE place to go for authentic 'zi char' on campus! Do make a trip down to enjoy its sumptuous seafood toufu claypot and prawn paste chicken dishes, served with a generous amount of warm fluffy rice.

Fans of Korean food, Canteen 13 is the only place in NTU to satisfy your craving. But before you bemoan that sad fact, you'll be happy to know that the Korean food it serves is value-for-money and tantalising on your taste buds, especially the beef bulgogi and barbecued chicken and pork.

For lovers of western and Japanese food, it is a must to visit Canteen 14! Best known for its deliciously satisfying mix grill, the western food stall is always packed with people during lunch and dinner times. The Japanese stall is not doing too badly either. Its teriyaki chicken, soft shell crab don and other delights are always worth a try!

Ok stop drooling already and do try them all for yourself when uni starts! CAUTION: EXPANDING WAISTLINE. Once again, you've been warned. ;)
